Spiritual, Mental & Physical Wellness, and Education Empowerment:
BHB CDC aims to bring holistic healing to individuals by addressing spiritual brokenness, emotional wounds, and mental health needs through faith centered care and community - based wellness resources as well as eliminating educational barriers by offering life-long learning opportunities, academic support, leadership development, and financial literacy grounded in Christian values.
BHB CDC Core Strategies will consist of:
Healing Rooms: Weekly sessions offering prayer, spiritual guidance, and inner healing.
Faith & Therapy Alliance: Collaborative care between Christian therapists, pastoral counselors, and community leaders providing low-cost or free counseling.
Support Groups: Faith- driven recovery circles for grief, trauma, addiction, and abuse survivors.
Men of Valor and Women of Grace: Gender- specific healing and discipleship groups focused on identity restoration, biblical manhood’/womanhood, and accountability.
Annual healing Conference: A city-wide summit featuring worship, workshops, and mental health professionals integrating biblical and clinical approaches.
Learning Center: Offers GED preparation, adult literacy, ESL, and computer training to empower undereducated adults and immigrants.
After school & Summer Impact program: A safe, structured environment with tutoring, STEM exploration, arts and Bible-based character development.
Leadership Academy: Equips youth and adults with public speaking, civic engagement, critical thinking, and faith-based leadership skills.
Financial Empowerment Classes: Teaches families and individuals to budget, eliminate debt, build credit, and honor GOD through financial stewardship and tithing.
Our impact goals are to remove the stigma surrounding mental health in faith and local communities and provide safe, spirit-led environment for personal transformation and emotional healing. We also to nurture spiritually grounded, well-educated, and economically responsible leaders who are equipped to rebuild their communities and families with wisdom and excellence.
